5:00PM – This year OutFest will be on Saturday, September 13 starting at 5:00pm. Events will include info and vendor booths, a silent auction, dancing in the streets, and more. Volunteers needed!

The WRAP Resource Center is proudly hosting the 14th annual OutFest on Saturday, September 13, 2008 in Ann Arbor's Kerrytown district. OutFest will feature an Information Fair featuring LGBT groups and queer and ally business supporters, great food and drink specials at the \'aut\BAR, a silent auction and raffle with great prizes, kid space with games, face painting, and moon tent, and an evening of dancing in the street with old and new friends.

How can you support WRAP and be part of OutFest?

Volunteer

Volunteers make OutFest possible and it's a great way to make new friends. We need people to help setup the day of the event, staff activities during OutFest, and breakdown after the event. In addition, if you are interested in helping on the planning committee there is lots to do between now and September 13th. Honorary Chair

By donating to WRAP and joining the Honorary Chair Committee, you'll be loaning your name to the cause of equality in Michigan. Your name will be added to the OutFest 2008 program, which will be distributed to attendees at the event. Your support of $100, $250, or $500 will allow WRAP to continue important programs serving the LGBT and ally community of Washtenaw County. To be a chair complete the Honorary Chair Donation Form and return to WRAP or make your donation online.

Corporate Sponsorship

If your organization sells products or services and you want to increase awareness of your organization in the LGBT community then corporate sponsorship is for you. With multiple levels you can select the investment suitable to your organization. By linking your organization's name to the single largest LGBT event in Washtenaw County you can feel great about enhancing your organization's reputation and visibility and supporting an important cause. Corporate sponsorship is also a great way for non-profit organizations to educate the public about their program and services and gain supporters. All corporate sponsors are eligible for space at the OutFest Information Fair. To become a corporate sponsor complete the Corporate Sponsorship Form and return to WRAP.

Auction / Raffle Item Donation

This year's event features a silent auction and raffle - this is another great opportunity for businesses and merchants to connect and contribute to the LGBT community. There is no minimum value for donated goods or services. An auction / raffle donation is a great way to highlight your company and support your local community. All proceeds from the auction and raffle will directly benefit the WRAP Resource Center. To donate an auction item complete the Corporate Sponsorship Form and return to WRAP.

Information Fair

Last year almost 50 companies, non-profits, and clubs participated in the OutFest Information Fair. This is a great venue for your organization to reach thousands from the LGBT and ally community. Each organization will be provided with covered space, a table, and chairs. To reserve a booth complete the Booth Registration Form and return to WRAP.


The Washtenaw Rainbow Action Project (WRAP) is a resource for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (“queer”), and allied residents of Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and greater Washtenaw County.
